Huang Liyan is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at Sun Yat-sen University, China. Dr. Huang received her MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford, UK and her Doctorate from Lancaster University, UK. She has been an English teacher, test developer, ELT researcher and teacher educator for 20 years. Her research interests include applied linguistics, second language acquisition, language testing, teacher developmentand materials development. She has published widely in the fields of ELT and testing.
