大卫·罗桑德(David Rosand)是哥伦比亚大学艺术史方面的迈耶·夏皮罗名誉教授,同时也是该大学的米里亚姆和艾拉·D·瓦拉赫艺术画廊的主任。他身为美国国家艺术与科学院院士,同时也是威尼斯威尼托学院的摬外成员。他因对威尼斯艺术的研究面蜚声海内外,出版有《提香与维尼斯木刻》、《提香》、《16世纪的维尼斯绘画:提香、韦罗内塞、丁特列托》等专著。在现代艺术领域他也有专论出版,其中代表作为《罗伯特·马瑟韦尔:素描、印刷与抽象拼贴画》。
