最近上下班听完了这个的audio book，这本来是一个spock喜当爹的故事，不知道为什么kirk和spock各种内心独白会表达出来满满的奸情。。。

写得不错的雷设定，讲的是大副和《All Our Yesterdays》的Zarabeth生了个儿子Zar，大副把他找回来都二十几岁了。Zar的设定有杰克苏的嫌疑。Spock为父的心理变化刻画得不错。这本不知为何有点儿腐（Kirk又不是主角），Zar走的时候让舰长照顾他爸爸，舰长还心说什么Spock我需要你。最喜欢这两句“Kirk thought he'd never seen him look so Vulcan--then he saw the eyes.”“Vulcan genes must be dominant as hell.”
