一個書癡寫給書的情書。以為是1984，實際是娛樂至死。知識的神奇之處在於，能同時培養齣知識的擁躉者和反對者。

小說中一提到焚書我就心如刀絞。想像到一個沒有圖書的社會會是極其絕望的。雖然是大半個世紀前寫的，但是小說中對所謂“快餐文學”和“即時娛樂”的描寫可謂具有前瞻性。我們現在就被這些媒體所圍繞，我承認自己經常也會被其引誘。作者的文纔很棒，尤其在比喻和比擬。很多象徵的使用避免瞭說教。所謂“前事不忘，後事之師”。沒有知識自由地流通，沒有思想自如地擴散，社會不會嚮前、歷史還會重演。

More paranoid version of 1984. 讀前五頁就感覺自己不習慣這種文筆，讀到最後也欣賞不來。似乎是為瞭渲染情緒堆積詞句，但我確不太能入戲，很多象徵啊隱喻什麼的描寫來得很突兀，閱讀體驗不是很連貫。情節上缺乏世界的背景設定，就給人感覺比較中二...優點是...封麵插畫很酷，焚書坑儒這種設定對於愛書之人來說還是很有吸引力的...雖然有點被作者的這種寫法勸退，但還是決定以後再給The Martian Chronicles一個機會... （另外很有趣的是，這段時間我正在用b站的Modern Family輪播間下飯，所以書裏那個無腦沉迷Family“牆播劇”的女主正是我本人寫照。好像我從影視上索取的正是那種現實裏不可能的完美而單純的安心和快樂，所以她有什麼錯呢？）
