雖然是個典型美式大英雄主義“最後一分鍾力挽狂瀾”的故事，但寫得齣奇的有吸引力。我要贊一下作者被很多人吐槽的插敘手法：一方麵給齣足夠的筆墨塑造齣一個血肉豐滿的恐怖分子，另外也讓故事的節奏前慢後快，特彆有助於渲染氣氛。這位作者是寫劇本齣身，在場景安排和情節推動上很有一套，敘事也很有畫麵感，不過在不少“技術細節”上略顯鬼扯。雖然一個是極端穆a斯a林一個是天主教宗近侍，這裏的反派boss時常讓我聯想到丹布朗《天使與魔鬼》裏的Janus。感覺宗教復雜性的一個具體體現就是：文學作品中的救贖傢和破壞傢都經常是虔誠的教徒。上帝和魔鬼之間也許本來就是沒有界限的。

居然會有差評，我驚瞭。什麼gripping, read in one sitting,都隻是為形容這樣的小說的好麼！Guardian說這是當年首選thriller這的確是名至實歸。畫麵感太好瞭，每每在著急看進展的時候作者展開上帝視角開始追述當年往事固然讓人著急，但我覺得這是他的小狡猾！

簡直是目前看的，米國愛國主義旗幟裏麵最啊哈哈哈哈哈哈的一部。Propaganda is just ooozing from every f**king chapter. 據說要拍電影啊，真閤適。
