随手翻了一下，日记般的记录了作者AP第一年手忙脚乱的生活。感觉自己太幸运了，在身边的同事之中已经学到了太多太多，而且学科不同时代不同也是差距比较大，所以感觉这本书比较拖沓对我来说没太有帮助，准备读那本small teaching试试。

An honest book. 特别是作者关于department politics的总结以及serving at search committee的过程描写都fill了很多我个人的experience gap.
