Just because we have a digital camera and know how to use it technically, does not mean that we can take great pictures. Composition, texture, mood, colour and, sometimes, pure creativity must all be present to achieve an award-winning image. In this, the second title in the Digital Photography series, we learn how to combine digital know-how with photographic ability. Dissecting some of the most sumptuous landscape images taken using digital means, the author shows us which elements are important to merge from the technical and aesthetical worlds.
