关于“背叛”，文中各个人物的背叛，精神上，内森对艾拉精神上的背离，受大学老师的教诲——“教育我的人，我出自他们。对我而言，他们是各有各的卓越，引人竞争的个性，是代表或信奉强大理念的导师，最先教会我操纵这世界和它的权利，他们每个人到时候都要伴着他们的遗赠一起...  

只能说同情主人公悲惨的命运 本不应该相信一个女人 但是这偏偏又是故事进行下去的重要脉络 不想谈什麽主义 信仰 时代 背景和大环境...单单给我的感受就是 不要相信女人 你的女人...唉 想必这句话又存在了好多争议 不管怎样 仅仅当成一部文艺作品吧...  

邪恶之徒的色情魔力……哈哈 这段太不容易了，表达这种混乱和嚣张能量的纠缠不清，两个棋逢对手 将遇良才的搭档制造出来的感觉，即使是有那么多事件的铺垫，要总结出来的话也是很难的，可作者做到了极致……甚至把兄弟的视角也顺带评点了一下。这是真实的生活状态，虽然底层生...  

冲着作者的名号，以及小说要描叙的敏感内容——共产党人在美国的表现和生活——本书就十分值得一看了。 能出版这样的文字，还不受影响地被余味国宝级作家，由罗斯的作品待遇也可一窥美国文化审查制度相对宽容的氛围。 不过，本书的翻译我真心受不了，中文表达较差。
