A Multitude of Sins 在線電子書 著者簡介

理查德•福特，美國當代重要作傢。1944年齣生於密西西比州傑剋遜市。他在密歇根州立大學畢業後曾擔任初中教師，後在華盛頓大學法學院讀瞭一學期，即轉學加州大學厄灣校區攻讀創意寫作碩士學位，師從著名作傢奧剋利•霍爾和E.L.多剋托羅。

1976年，他發錶第一部長篇小說《我的一片心》，但銷售慘淡。他相繼在大學任教、為體育雜誌撰稿。1986年，他發錶長篇小說《體育記者》，第二年發錶短篇小說集《石泉城》。這兩部作品令他在美國文壇站穩瞭腳跟，他和雷濛德•卡佛、托拜厄斯•沃爾夫等人一起，被稱為“骯髒現實主義”流派的代錶性作傢。1995年齣版的小說《獨立日》是《體育記者》的續集，相繼獲得美國筆會福剋納奬和普利策小說奬。迄今，理查德•福特一共齣版八部中長篇小說，三部短篇小說集，並選編瞭多部美國短篇小說選。2016年，他獲得西班牙阿斯圖裏亞斯王儲奬。

目前他擔任哥倫比亞大學藝術學院寫作教授。

标题摘自第124页，其他相关书摘可参见：[https://www.douban.com/people/shunzi66/status/2004581286/] 到最后一篇《深渊》，感觉换了个译者——并不是说《深渊》译得多么好，而是前面全部都是一坨屎。有的地方硬的像是机翻，不造现在翻译的钱是特别好赚还是特别不好赚。

这两天读理查德•福特的短片小说集《千百种罪》。在两篇小说中都看到对记忆和过去的岁月的看法，记忆无法遗忘，过去得不到修补，也不会被补偿，但可以超越。他说的和我的想法一样，我以前也这样说过。 先看一下《呼唤》里面几段话： （作者说想起遗弃他的父亲的时候）我都试...
