第一眼就被这本书的封面迷住了。几乎违背了编辑们一贯恪守的各项准则：在全黑底色上，作者名和中文书名全用黑色过油，将近1/2的封面都献给了一张蛛网照片，并且非常惶惑人心，有人会以为是水晶珠链，有人会以为是抽象构图，有人也许会注意到一只细长腿脚的蜘蛛，但未必就立...

书看到一半，我已经严重怀疑蜘蛛不过是胖查理的另一个分身而已，这样的故事设置并不鲜见。在卡尔维诺的《我们的祖先》中“分成两半的男爵”里，一半至善，一半至恶；蜘蛛和胖查理也是两人有着很明显的偏差，也就是说不完美。所以他们原来都应该是同一个人，最后被强行分开了...
