The sheer extremity of violence and his nonchalance of it just makes me shudder...However, I like the movie ending better. The book has far more gore, but less structure.

评分很魔幻現實又幽默，在資本主義商品社會裏做一顆隨時可被替換的螺絲釘，生活的意義與價值都變為物質主義，要買房買車用名牌供孩子讀貴族早教，物欲橫流。以至於大傢都缺失瞭姓名，男主三番五次被認錯，而他殺死的保羅歐文又在死後與眾多人於倫敦共進午餐。這是多麼絕望不快樂而失敗的男主啊，通過暴力和殺人來讓自己感覺還活著，可即便這樣，他也幾乎隻敢對弱小下手—流浪漢、站街女、幼童，而在周圍人心中，他是個討好人的窩囊廢。而我卻記得男主與一直暗戀他的女秘書走在紐約街頭，他心中閃現不去的是他與她在中央公園笑著牽著氣球跑的幻象，但他卻斬釘截鐵地拒絕瞭她的邀約。我們都像是自憎的怪獸，在山洞裏的積水中望見瞭自己醜陋可鄙的模樣，自知無法獲得愛，便將他人贈與的愛狠狠拋在地上。
评分殺人狂都極度絕望。“重新為荒唐世界建立秩序”。有很多電影裏麵沒有的細節，而電影中挑齣來的確實已經很能描述齣Patrick的性格瞭。
