Originally from California, Biskup was raised on Disneyland, Ratfink, badly dubbed Japanese Sci-Fi movies, punk rock, skateboarding, and underground comics. But it was his obsession with the art of Mary Blair that led him to consider a career in animation. This career has involved him in countless cartoons, including his own short "Freddy Seymore's Amazing Life" for Nickelodeon, and he is currently Background Supervisor for Cartoon Network's Time Squad. It is the culmination of these activities and influences that have shaped his work.
