看瞭各種現當代建築史的書，benevolo, Frampton的。還是這本最簡單明瞭適閤應付建築史考前突擊。

兩年多前帶來的書終於在找工作的間歇期讀完瞭。呼

柯洪在晚年終於從評論傢轉為史學傢瞭，於是本書的史論部分盡帶其早年的評論格調。他能在新藝術運動裏看得到法國與英國國傢層麵對工藝的支持態度不同，到瞭德國又換個語境；論柯布，看到反裝飾背後其實通過objet-type構建起新生活。。我欣賞柯洪的文字整閤力，不過依舊還是鍾情班納姆的文風。

外近建不少用的這本書的觀點，很好很好.

如果说大多数书可以用来作“碎片式”阅读，增加一点知识或趣味的话，这本显然不是。用约250页的篇幅要厘清现代建筑运动的历程，而且作为“Oxford History of Art”系列中的一种，必须浅显（事实上并不浅）易读，这样的难度大概由Alan Colquhoun来完成最合适不过了。 尽管定位...

有观点 而且写的比较准确 虽然是史书 但谈的基本是设计思想 所以读起来比较带劲 反正弗兰普顿和塔夫里这辈子估计都没法读了 这本书正好填补空白
