其实好像最后一个故事没有看完

当看完最后一个故事的最后一段文字，我也觉得毛姆的内心深处认为女人是空洞的善变的甚至是冷酷无情的。抛开这些不说，故事写的十分精彩，简练而又刻画到位，然后通常在故事的尾声部分甩出一个悲凉的嘲讽的大包袱，砸的你一时不知道说什么好。

短篇中无一例外会从一个地点到达另一个地点旅行吧 那就在毛姆大叔的短篇里旅行 目前为止最喜欢rain 结局的惊讶又合乎情理 看多了就会想大叔会给这篇又来个怎么样的结局呢 看了几遍月亮与六便士喜欢大叔 看多了就顺理成章成为脑残粉 嘿嘿

昨天看完了这本薄薄的小书里收录的第一篇小说《Rain》，结局很意外，一个极端严苛自律的传教士，不带丝毫宽容和怜悯，想把一个寻欢作乐的妓女送回监狱，但是最终却屈从于自己的欲望，在给妓女做忏悔的过程中被她引诱（也很有可能是他不由自主的rape了这个妓女，从后来妓女的话...
