理查德布兰森之所以牛逼，大概是因为： 1. 有双好爸妈，给孩子足够的自由，让他去做自己想要的事情，支持帮助他做自己想做的事情。 2. 从小就不守常规，做些破格的事情，长大后也保持着冒险精神，愿意多方尝试。他在书里引用了这样一句王尔德的话：比臭名昭著更糟的是默默无闻...  

书中的叙事截至到2007年。看书才知道维珍在英国是一个庞然大物，是一个横跨很多领域的商业巨头，以前只知道维珍航空。主要内容是作者的自述。作者生于1950年，从小爱折腾爱冒险，在校期间办了一本杂志，虽然没挣钱，但是误打误撞由此进入唱片业，然后一路跌跌撞撞公司越来越大...  

像个流水账，以时间顺序描述了自己的前半生，间或穿插当时的想法感受．自传或多或少都会修饰，或者选择性的发布，Richard应该也不能免俗，但这些都难以掩盖他的光辉事迹. I really wish I can live like this man, to do what's in mind, to fight for what I believes.
