终于看到女主出场，确定了我高中确实看过这本书。而且对我的爱情观产生了意义深远的影响。Shirley应该是我classic literature里面看到过的最有女权精神的主角。坚定了我爱情是美好人生的点缀，而不是其主调的观点。。。对男人的描写简直就是一场灾难

As Leslie Stephen says Charlotte Bronte is a poetic novelist. Shirley更像一首献给处于时代巨变的英国的田园诗，然而勃朗特的文字依然充满了遏制不住的热情与对时代的审视。最喜欢神经兮兮的旁白，让人想起英国后来的那些喜剧套路，而且我总是觉得我在结尾看到了呼啸山庄的影子
