Thou Dust is a philosophical essay written in the style of a dialog among participants on a popular TV show, who all examine the question of whether man should clone. Ideas of resurrection of the body, reincarnation of the soul, and rebirth, are all considered in evaluating man's possible motivations.
The dialog begins with a demonstration that the verses in the scriptures (KJV Bible) mysteriously encode the basic facts of the DNA code, then reviews the original ideas that led to the field of genetics, and finally concludes with a religious and philosophical discussion on the subject.
This book contributes to the debate on whether religion should be taught along with science in schools, and is thus valuable reading for all who are concerned with that topic, and is not just about cloning.
