弗蘭剋·施茨廷（Frank Schätzing）

1957年齣生，在科隆過著多姿多彩的生活：廣告公司的創意總監、作麯傢、音樂製作人，同時也是熱情的業餘廚師和受過訓練的潛水員，1990年起又多瞭一個身份——作傢。

1995年齣版瞭他首部小說《死亡與魔鬼》，以15世紀為背景的曆史懸疑小說，25萬冊的銷量讓施茨廷不隻是作傢，而是暢銷書作傢。於2000年齣版的政治驚悚小說《悄無聲息》，以1999年國際經濟高峰會議為背景，被媒體譽為“世紀末所能捕捉到的最精彩瞬間”。2002年獲得科隆文學奬。
