整本书都不晦涩，翻译得很顺。三篇当中Oedipus the King和Antigone比较有看头，毕竟近亲结婚和女权运动都更激烈一点。Sophocles的戏剧有多个人物，又不像后来莎士比亚戏剧那样，包含一堆增加笑料却看起来老是与主线缠绕不清的小人物，所以比较对我的口味，就是Chorus太烦了，人民群众在里面表现出来的特点就是十分八卦以及听风就是雨。

But a shepherd found the babe and tended him, and delivered him to another shepherd who took him to his master, the King or Corinth. Polybus being childless adopted the boy, who grew up believing that he was indeed the King's son.
