War hero, Justice Adcock, ran for sheriff after returning from the dead following the Korean Conflict. He survived a Chinese prison for years, only to underestimate the power of corrupt politicians and law enforcement officers upon his return home. After losing his race for county sheriff, he complained about stuffed ballot boxes in the wrong bar and was arrested by two renegade cops. They beat him to death in the presence of the desk sergeant. His only relative was a younger brother who worked for a U.S. security agency who used the cover of his office and his knowledge of exotic poisons to avenge the death of his hero and idol.
