Errico Malatesta, 1853-1932, was a tireless revolutionary who spent nearly sixty years in the anarchist movement. Half his life was spent in exile from his native Italy, and more than 10 years was spent in prison, mostly awaiting trial. An important writer often overlooked in the anarchist pantheon.
Malatesta's seminal pamphlet explaining the anarchist ideal, written in 1891, and still relevant as an introductory text of anarchism. A new translation (1994) from the Italian.
