书是好书，大二的时候捧着天天啃沉浸于严密优美的符号之中，现在回过头来看大概是浪费生命用于啃字典了，因为没有motivation地学方法是事倍功半的。书里的motivation不如做研究中的motivation来的真切。

评分The interesting story or footnote of mathematicians are the best. It was a book from bbs recommended by Fang Wu from pku. And a textbook for our physics grad class.
评分Any undergraduate student aiming at further study in theoretical physics should finish this book. good books using modern mathematics but focusing on calculations also include Sternberg, Fecko and Frankel.
