An engaging novel, especially the book's premise will draw you in quite smoothly, a has-been model with a new face back to her old hometown meeting a 14 year old girl who bears the same name of hers and whose mother was once her best friend. but, it is too ambiitous, with too many characters and their connections left undiscovered

好像上以前考英语阅读时一样，细节单词都知道，整体要说什么搞不清。妙言警句层出不穷，故事情节引人入胜，只是在全书结尾时会忍不住说，"what's the FXXX?!"

叙述方式和表现主题对我朝来说算没新意的。。。我擦这么讲故事不免会想到搞个题记再sideA，sideB貌似一体两面的分述人物命运其实是骗骗人的中考一类卷，高考三类卷吧。。。

大概是我看过最无聊的英文原版书，实在欣赏不来，感觉剧情进展地超慢，完全调动不了我看故事的期待，像大夏洛特车祸后的模特生涯，本身和作者约见那段还挺有趣的，后面讲mooth一家真的是好无聊好无聊，个人实在欣赏不来这种。
