看瞭一本小說，引起瞭很大的共鳴。我的生活有一半和女主角非常相似呢。和外國男友的經曆什麼的，都融會貫通到書裏，像是在看自己的小說一樣呢。哈哈。

郭小櫓，1973年生於浙江溫嶺石塘鎮漁村，18歲就讀北京電影學院，獲學士及碩士學位，寫劇本，做電影導演，發錶小說和影評，齣版有文集《電影地圖》、《電影理論筆記》，小說《芬芳的37°2》、《我心中的石頭鎮》和電影劇本《我媽媽的男朋友是誰》等。2002年起旅居英國，至今拍瞭六部長短片，包括紀錄北京申奧期間的《嵌入肉體的城市》，獲法國巴黎“國際人權影展”大奬、描寫城鄉及歸鄉情結的《今天的魚怎麼樣？》，獲2007年法國 Créteil“國際女性影展”評審團大奬，以及藉由雙親的東西行旅透視文化衝突的新片《西行之路》等。

怎么说还是要记上一笔的，无论如何，好歹它也让我在枯燥无味的Learning Grid笑喷了好几回。一开始的messy broken English确实brought back a lot of embarrasing but hilarious memories. 这些记录很真实，让我很有画面感，也很有共鸣。至于后来的感情纠葛对我来说就没有前面...

翻过封面，背面写着：...first novel in (deliberately bad) English is a romantic comedy about... believe me, it is not a comedy, except for the beginning. Maybe that applies for most of the romances in the world.

一个来自温州的中国女人，和一个年长她许多的英国农村男人之间的爱情故事。不过毕竟有点老套了，即使文字如行云流水，还算是晓畅。不过要是从英文读者的角度去看，有非常可取的地方——英文其实很蹩脚，但刚好体现出一个中国女人在异国他乡的“进化”。这本书让我想起了朋友Vic。
