收录布迪厄的名篇《the forms of capital》（资本的形式），至今被引用3万多次。身体形式文化资本（embodied form）：经过行动者的学习劳动过程而习得的知识、技术及能力。一旦习得之后，资本与资本拥有者的身心融合，成为他们习性的一部分。特点在于亲力亲为、亲自动手；不可以通过金钱交换或购买来获得。客观形式文化资本（objective form）：物质形式的文化资本，家里拥有的藏书、钢琴、艺术品等。虽然可以通过经济资本来直接换取，但获得仍旧需要以身体形式文化资本作为前提。制度形式文化资本（institutional form）：学历及文凭。作为拥有“身体形式文化资本”的凭据，并替文化资本的价值设定较明确的标准，跟经济资本的“兑换率”相对明确，可以预估在市场换取到的报酬高低。
