本书公理系统所描述的Relativistic QFT实为有限UV/IR regulator的场论在重整化后的连续/热力学极限。然而只保证 Renormalized Wightman functions之收敛，而决不覆盖Hamiltonian/Hilbert space结构以及Wave functions，纵几无UV发散如1+1 phi ^4。可知Haag theorem和微扰计算所使用的有限regulator理论的interaction picture并无矛盾。之所以存在误解者，忽视regularity壁垒也。另，极限之存在性高度非平庸，少数被证明的实例亦在QFT领域最高成就之列。
