Very detailed, innovative and thought-provoking depictions of father-son and husband-wife relationships.Maybe fathers are always like shadows in the hearts of sons, but they mean to do more good than to do harm.

评分有點小深度、可普遍來說還是一般般。題材沒什麼新意，很“美國”。
评分結尾父親無法get over it的毛病又犯在瞭兒子身上
评分Death of A Salesman, A Raisin in the Sun, Fences這三部作品有異麯同工之妙。這部Fences主題是關於種族歧視，傢庭倫理，美國夢，女性地位等。就我個人而言，不是很喜歡這一類的作品，讀多瞭總覺得內容不夠宏大，寓意不夠深厚（至少不是我想要的那種），而且有點兒大同小異的感覺
