This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Distributed Computing, IWDC 2004, held in Kharagpur, India in December 2005. The 28 revised full papers and 33 revised short papers presented together with 5 invited keynote talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 253 submissions.
