评分真的是very shot，可能正是篇幅原因，很多話題都沒有深入探討，下一步可能還是得讀PETER HARVEY的。

评分這本書預設的讀者應該說是對佛教懷有各種奇葩想像的西方人，諸如認為佛教愛護動物，佛教注重環保，佛教對性持開放態度，佛教最和平最反暴力之類。佛教倫理著眼於此，不過是為倫理學提供一種另類資源，大多數佛教學者不感興趣亦在意料之中。
