曼羅·裏夫（Munro Leaf；1905～1976），生前寫過、畫過近四十本書，其中最具盛名的，即是與羅伯特·勞森閤作的《愛花的牛》。

由曼羅·裏夫所執筆的這本書，在美國是第一本被貼上“顛覆”捲標的作品。在西班牙內戰期間（二十世紀三十年代），這本書曾經被禁；另外，它也曾遭德國納粹列為焚書書單之一。
