Starting with his observations on the rewards and challenges of sailing, he takes us from the early days under sail through many wonderful cruising and racing adventures; he describes the boats in his life and along the way we also learn quite a bit about yachting history. Favorite cruising areas the world over are described and some very special cruising memories are shared with the reader.
