Diverse Issues, Diverse Answers: Reading, Writing, and Thinking about Social Issues is a social issues reader accompanied by a brief rhetoric. In Part One, the first ten chapters of rhetorical instruction introduce students to the basics of each mode presented and move students from paragraph to essay writing, while teaching key reading skills that students will apply in later chapters. In Part Two, Reading About Social Issues, students are introduced to thought provoking and in many cases, humorous, essays on social issues that vary in length, difficulty, and mode.
