史密斯这本书的亮点其实是：叩问遗产或者说非遗这一社会文化过程背后的合理性到底何在？而事实上，没有什么东西是理所当然的。引入批判话语分析这一套来分析遗产，去讨论遗产是如何被“制造”的。不过感觉其实不够精彩，可以对照着福柯、布迪厄的的相关论述一起看会更有启发
