朱尔斯•埃文斯（Jules Evans）
伦敦大学玛丽皇后学院历史情感中心主任，致力于研究古代哲学在现代生活和心理学中的应用。他长期为《华尔街日报》《泰晤士报》等欧美主流媒体撰文，并发表了大量关于生活哲学的讲座。2013年，他被英国广播公司与英国艺术和人文科学研究委员会 联合推选为“新一代思想家”之一。
目前，他也是英国最大的哲学俱乐部——伦敦哲学俱乐部（LPC）的负责人之一，与阿兰•德波顿、朱利安•巴吉尼等其它15位独具特色的哲学家们一起，共同致力于通过哲学让我们能真正改变自我，并从此过上更好的生活。

看着书的介绍，觉得还不错，燃起我想读它的欲望，买回来看了一章，就已经看不下去了，这翻译水平。。。。。。。。。谁买谁知道，第一次在豆瓣买书，就被坑的这样惨，谁买谁知道，这价格与书的质量完全不匹配，真是浪费心情。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。...
