This book has been designed for anyone wishing to undertake a course in first aid, including: Level 1 - Essential 1st Aid, and Level 2 - Senior 1st Aid.

The level of first aid covered is also appropriate for emergency service personnel completing a Certificate II (or equivalent) in Public Safety or any other first aid training based on the new recently implemented Australian National Training Competencies.

Â· Divided into two sections: Part A provides National Training Competency approved first aid up to senior level; and Part B provides information for Certificate II in Public Safety.

Â· Each first aid response contains signs and symptoms followed by relevant treatment.

Â· Provides fundamentals and essential first aid information in a clear and uncluttered design format for easy reference by general consumers.
