As technology grows more sophisticated, more and more children will receive therapies such as apnea monitoring, dialysis, and prolonged IV therapy at home on an ongoing basis. This book provides an overview of the research evidence available on home health care of children who are technology dependent and their families. A major study of 800 children that the author conducted is highlighted. The book also describes practical strategies to assist these children with complex needs.
