Recognizing that safe and adequate water supplies are an essential component of fighting poverty and disease, the Asian Development Bank Water for All Publication series focuses on understanding the water issues facing poor people in the developing nations of Asia and the Pacific. This study explores the ways conventional mindsets and vested interests have impeded progress in providing clean water in Asia. A call for renewed efforts to change the ways water resources are managed and delivered, this report encourages steps toward greater productivity and equal access.
