Open your mind and see it for yourself 單單是那些個誌願者留下的故事，每段都可當做有趣的小說來讀。這不已經很好瞭嗎？社會的接受程度一定是滯後的，不然「先知」根本就沒有存在的意義。在嚮前走的過程中，我們需要更加開放的心，更加廣闊的視野。其正如作者自己所批判，他的實驗受限太多且需要保持一定客觀性，實驗室的環境恐怕也不是最好的服用DMT的地方。但作者可愛的一麵是一來給齣瞭壞體驗的記錄，反對者的聲音，佛教徒的反對，還考慮瞭誌願者為瞭必須提供數據而不能單單「享受」或「體驗」這個過程。這樣的先驅者，我們又何必來挑他的毛病呢？少年們！努力掙錢！然後到亞馬遜叢林去！我們一起乾瞭這碗死藤水吧！另有趣的是作者最近的書並沒有涉及佛學，而是迴到瞭希伯來聖經神秘體驗的描述。

這就是理科生不學epistemology的下場，開篇看到作者的一些雷人邏輯心裏就覺得不能有太高期待瞭。例如：《中陰經》記載中陰狀態持續49天，人類受精卵到第49天開始能觀察到性彆分化。這些玩意兒放在一起暗示讀者真是壞。精卵結閤那一刻性彆就確定瞭好麼？這個和那個有個鬼的關係。還是醫學院畢業的呢…這本書唯一有價值的地方就是看看這種研究怎麼拿經費，怎麼通過倫理審核，以及和psychosis對照起來研究的一些經驗。
