前麵幾章容易讀，但是也就是一個比較普通的左派教育學傢能掰扯的那一點道理。後麵幾章復雜些，反而有趣瞭。Brighouse認為政教分離的美國教育係統反而讓孩子隔絕瞭與宗教接觸的機會，倒不如英國，能夠在宗教混雜中鍛煉學生的思維判斷能力，無論這種能力最終讓他們走嚮信仰還是不信仰，都對人是有好處的。
