一部几乎面面俱到的津巴布韦史。族群关系，民族解放战争，土地改革与经济，应该是了解时下津巴布韦的三个比较重要的切口。尽管翻译仍有瑕疵，但总体上很棒。

评分身份认同、利益调和、现代化追赶……多重目标下的艰难建国之路。这本是需要几个世纪甚至上千年才能完成的任务，统统压在非洲身上，其艰难、混乱、摇摆、危险可想而知，明天与意外哪个更先到来成为广大非洲人民的命运写照。当我们哀其不幸恕其不争时，更应当给予其宽容与耐心，更重要的是教育上的帮助。
