Digital Design and Computer Architecture is designed for courses that combine digital logic design with computer organization/architecture or that teach these subjects as a two-course sequence. 这本书我当时在设计CPU时细读过6、7章,感觉在实践方面的话是相当不错的。第七章的三个例子都很不错,实践一下对计算机组成和计算机系统结构都有挺大的帮助。

整本书最精彩的章节,是第一章 From Zero to One。作者把人类在设计计算机结构时用到的抽象技巧,分析的透透彻彻。其中很多观点,对思考大型软硬件的架构颇有裨益

这是本好书,个人觉得这是硬件描述语言的最佳入门书.因为这里面对比的讲了verilog/vhdl两种.同时前面对数字电路基础的讲解也颇为独特!书中讲了mips的架构,给出了一个较为完整的处理器的实现代码,例子生动,通俗易懂,不可多得,绝对五星!个人认为看csapp不如看这本来的直白,但是很多cs的学生可能不会太关注此类书籍.另外最后一句,此书写的好就好在比较详细,非常适合自学!
