The thing of it was, Ian wished every day was someplace else. Or summertime. Or Saturday. He wished he could go anyplace else but school. No matter how hard he tries, Ian Goobie can't do the things that the other children in his class can do. Sheree is an award-winning poet and author whose playful approach to language has brought joy to thousands upon thousands of children and many adults as well. She is also the author of No Two Snowflakes (Orca, 2001). Helen Flook moved to Canada from Wales in 1995. Since the early '80s she has exhibited in solo and group shows on both sides of the Atlantic. She has produced illustrations for publishers in both Great Britain and Canada. Her warm style, imaginative approach and vibrant colors are perfect for Sheree's sensuous story.
