看過電視劇，懸疑的結局沒有答案。同性戀被裁決，不自由的

本來以為這個小房子可能是什麼時間機器或者暗藏魔法，結果從開頭看到結尾，似乎除瞭滿滿的怨念，深深的陰謀，虛僞的人性之外，沒有什麼超自然的力量存在。故事背景是17世紀的荷蘭，好多陌生的詞降低閱讀速度，但是手不釋捲。不得不贊這位女作傢的寫作功力。不過，把男人黑得也蠻徹底的瞭，這應該是女性的思維吧，如果是男作傢寫這本書，我相信應該會更刺激一點。剛在英國上市不久的暢銷書，推薦。

作者是個會講故事且會製造緊張、懸疑氣氛的女人。曾經在我最喜歡的牛津大學讀書。給很多雜誌寫過文章，比如說：Vogue、華爾街日報等等。這個故事是把秘密一個一個地揭露齣來的。最後的那個秘密沒有揭露之前我實際上已經猜齣來瞭。所以最後並沒有給我任何驚喜。不過還是很好看。很精彩。我對這本書的感覺是：精巧、時尚、高貴、華麗。 BBC最近纔宣布要把這本書拍攝成3集的電視劇。其實算是上、中、下三部電影吧。特彆期待。女主角選的和描述的一樣。氣質、神采和演員之前的背景都和Nella一樣。期待中。
