Thalia Tyree is a twenty-five year old schoolteacher who is tired of being mistreated, unappreciated, and ignored by her finace. So one day she just leaves him and Philadelphia behind, and heads back to her hometown of Miami. During a layover at the Chicago O'Hare airport, she runs into her best friend's father, the Reverend Isaac Flack. Not only is he a father of four and a windower, but is also considered by most women in Miami to be a sweet sin waiting to happen. Twenty years her senior, Isaac is everything a woman could ask for: handsome, caring, loving, and a man of God. Thalia always found Isaac, attractive, but after talking together as adults, they find one another to be quite intriguing.
