Jan Miller is a senior in high school who is convinced she will never have "it." Her best friend and official New York It girl has "it," strangers in her class seem to have "it," and even her crush has an alluring "it" about him. Why not her? With college application deadlines looming and her best friend in the middle of a new-found love, Jan feels more confused than sophisticated.
