一本非常值得一读的书。的确是文学课的必读书，但在阅读过程中发现是一本极易上手的短篇。本书从一个事件的不同亲历者与目击者讲述时间的起因经过结果，十分有趣。当然，故事本身还是非常沉重的，毕竟是关于黑奴。人物众多但还是个个形象饱满，不愧是classic。推荐和为奴十二载一起食用。

作者分身描写数十个人物，语言却和人物性情丝毫不违和......关于最后一部分的感受：his whole life is insufficient. No one knows that except himself. He has waited long for the day that the daylight and the night can share one day equally. But he didn’t wait till that day. Nor did his boy. No one is sustaining his hope then. No hope, no memory.
