作者倒是掌握到 Robert Jordan 拖戏毛病的精髓了。

用大胖子的话来总结，就是too much high school drama啊。每个人都说第二本不好看。什么问题都没解决反而多了更多的问题。拖拖拉拉的。太多心理活动了。这种奇幻小说搞那么多心理干嘛。本来第一本还挺喜欢女主的，结果第二本太多爱情段子我实在是受不了。。。

过年以后，杯盘狼藉，门庭复归冷清，但是又要准备过元宵节，这本书就是这么个感觉。

政治，宗教更多了，一个围城写了700页，也是厉害。没有第一部那样的主题那么热血了。

布兰登·桑德森（Brandon Sanderson）：

1975年12月19日生于美国内布拉斯加州（Nebraska）首府林肯（Lincoln），现居犹他州的欧瑞市（Orem），任教于杨百翰大学（Brigham Young University）。

作者的首部小说《伊岚翠》，2005年甫一出版即获得《浪漫时代》（Romantic Times）奇幻史诗大奖，作者也连续2006、2007年两年入选美国科奇幻界地位最高的新人奖项——约翰·坎伯新人奖，《伊岚翠》更被邦诺书店（Barnes & Noble）列为头号选书。

作者还陆续出版了《迷雾之子三部曲》（Mistborn），均与全球著名的奇幻出版社Tor签约。

后《哈里·波特》的美国出版社Scholastic以高价买下作者其他所有奇幻作品的版权。
