全書的感覺就是“啊啊對對就這麼繼續分析下去！....喂喂喂你還沒怎麼說呢怎麼都結束瞭” 很多非常好的切入點，至今都是熱門爭端，但什麼都淺嘗輒止很讓讀者著急

Contemporary Art&Theory課上選讀瞭部份章節，非常受益。不足是本書以作品的主題分類，因而不夠深入且有一定的局限性。對部份藝術傢的評論亦有爭議。
