This book reads like a screenplay. A drama disguised under a mystery. On not having a calling—I can relate to that. I could never be passionate about something like Juliet. Serves Alan right to get beat up, he was such an entitled, apathetic jerk, like his father. The only likeable characters who have some sense in them are Juliet and Mrs. Perry.
