They say true freedom arrives when all the kids are gone and the dog dies. With his family grown and his husband Zack having decided to become a middle-aged cliché and marry his secretary, Chris Thayer is about to discover that starting life over at 48 is just as complicated, frustrating and thrilling as the first time around. Oh well this is certainly a well-written book and deserves four stars. But I can't say I like it. There are three things I genuinely dislike in this world: family, kids and church goers. Unfortunate this book is full of them, and they made my cynical stomach very upset. Although I must give credit to the narrator, he did a good job.

评分現在歐美MM貌似已經不興的一個品種——居傢文。“They say true freedom arrives when all the kids are gone and the dog dies.”道齣瞭44歲的男主Chris的狀況：22歲遇見比他大10歲帶著3個小孩的男人，好容易拉扯大3個孩子後，男人卻毫無新意的搞大瞭年輕小秘還要娶迴傢。開頭很狗血但是過程卻很平和的講述Chris重新開始的故事。Jay Quinn的文筆有保證。唯一的雷點(可能)是孩子們會管Chris叫媽。總體而言，推薦~~
